TOM 2005 Friday 0002

That would be the A-Team. I've already had emails from some of the rookies thanking me for letting them work and hoping they can do it again next year!

Air Show Honchos

Why in the world would someone trust these two guys to run a show?

This was the most moving thing I've seen in a long time. This picture captures the moment just before the peel-away. Great shot.

EARLY ARRIVALS

This was the biggest gathering of B17's for years. The sound of all 8 of them warming up together before the massed flight was indescribable, and probably won't be heard again. The "missing wingman" flyover using B17's brought tears to my eyes, and to those around me.

Yes there were other planes (P47's, P51's, ME109, B24's, B25's, and more). This was a phenomenal airshow.

Great photo's!

EARLY ARRIVALS

Yes, there were lots more, but the early arrivals (see pic title) were all bombers.

Nice pix, but weren't there other planes there? I got awful tired of just looking at B-17s
