Wow.What prompted this move? Don't you know I've NEVER done this? I've never let my hair completely dry with no products in it. I have no idea what my hair would look like or act like, and I'm not sure I want to know.. Detangling for hours is all I'd be thinking about.
I had already slept all night in the henna and dc'ed and we had to go out and I had no time to style. Just had to wash the DC out, shape the fro, and get to going. When I got back I spritzed with rosewater, sectioned, then moisturized/sealed as normal. Didn't get much breakage but it took 3 times longer to set my hair in braids than it does on a regular night. Next time I probably would jump in the shower, cowash, then detangle after my hair was soaked in condish
Love them! I did similar braids from October - December, I got them done for so cheap in Nigeria. I'll be doing the same in a couple of days but for 3 months this time :) But paying in pounds this time... oh well
It is! My hair's still straight and someone I know didn't believe it was all mine. The person actually asked if I put in a couple of tracks! All cos everyone's used to seeing my hair in it's natural state.
