Hope you read this. I wanted to try a natural way to lighten black hair that has very, very subtle reddish hues. I read about cinnamon but some people says that it leaves a reddish hue afterwards and that's not what I want, I prefer something golden or ashy. In your hair it doesn't look reddish it looks golden, what is exactly the color of your hair? You think the camera hasn't captured well the color and actually looks reddish? Thanks.
it depends if your hair has a reddish under tone in it naturaly it will bring it out.

your locs are soo gorgeous -- dang i am in loc limbo 9 wks in small braids and i am thinking of taking the plunge :) ___ Whichever you decide, I'm sure it'll be BEAUTIFUL!!!!
beautiful - have you seen those brown or clear bobby pins - they are large and plastic - i find them at sallys as a set of 10-12... they work really well for thick twists and probably locs too. otherwise try hairpins vs bobby pins. __ I'll be on the look out for those pins. I've grown tried of wearing a bun and styles that required multiple bobby pins. I've challenged myself try styles that take 3 at the most, although my current style, the reversed braid, takes one.
earrings please :)_ thanks, lol! you guys are so beautiful! __ Thanks, Lina. These earrings were given to me as a gift. I believe they were purchased at a flea market. Whenever I wear them, I get loads of compliments.
