Saw this Dart in Iowa City on Sunday (5/12). Passed it on 4-lane Hwy 6 in town, on the way out of town, going to the outlet mall in Williamsburg. This car is too kool -- those dual exhausts really made that slant-6 sing! I love the styling, too -- wish there was a kit of it! On the way to Wmsburg, and once there, saw a bunch of other rods. It's always great to see them (and hear them) actually being driven!
Was linked here from a posting on the Hobby Heaven message board (modelcarkits.com). I think it is great that you take the time to post all these great pics for others to enjoy.
a perfect example of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". are these two photos from the late 70's? that might be an acceptable excuse....... robbshelby
THIS IS MY ESTRANGED BROTHER WHOSE NAME ISN'T EVEN REALLY KURT. HE WAS BORN OSAMA MCCORMICK, BUT FOR SOME REASON HE CHANGED IT. OUR FAMILY CAST HIM OUT YEARS AGO BECAUSE HE IS FRAUDULENT. I THINK IT WAS ALL THAT MEXICAN FOOD. I STILL KEEP TRACK OF WHAT HE IS DOING THESE DAYS BY READING HIS RESUME AT THE POST OFFICE. I ALSO HAPPEN TO KNOW THAT THIS MERCURY ISN'T EVEN A REAL CAR, HE CARVED IT OUT OF COOKIE BATTER THAT HAD A CATALYST ADDED. ONE THING YOU CAN SAY ABOUT KURT'S CARS, THOUGH. THEY MAY BE UNATTRACTIVE, BUT THEY SURE ARE SLOW.
