John Bigelow (1817-1911) was the first owner of the 1864 Steinway Grand Piano. Mr. Bigelow was appointed by President Lincoln as consul general to Paris in 1861 and U.S. minister to France for a two year term 1865-66.

    Brambach Baby Grand Piano
Was this piano originally a player piano? I've heard that players had the double pedestal legs like this one. Beautiful piano. We're buying a 1918 Brambach that's been restored, new strings, new pins, hammers reworked, etc.

Serial numbers for the Hardman Piano Co. as listed in the Pierce Piano Atlas.
    hi,
I am interested in purchasing a new hardman baby grand. I'm wondering whether these pianos are manufactured in the U.S. nowadays. I ask b/c many manufacturerers are outsourcing to China, for ex.
    thanks.

Rockwell's painting, "Walking to Church". I'm out in front, my brother is the other little boy, the girl is unknown, the parents are Don Trachte's mother and father.
I just came across this, wow, really great. I was not aware of this picture. Terrific!

Hey Nancy and Don, Wasn't that the best. I went up the second week (feeling pretty positive about it before I got there) and loved the whole thing. My Mom and Tracy took the bus thingy they had going through the park. It lasted an hour and they got the whole history of the park and whatnot. You guys look great. Loved the pics. Love, Gay

Mary Doyle Keefe and myself, Charlie Hubert, next to our respective Norman Rockwell paintings that we posed for.
We are doing a History Day project over how this painting of Rosie the Riveter influenced women during WWII. We were wondering if we could get in contact with Mary Doyle Keefe for an interview. Thank you for your time.
