Beautiful CL-S and great choice of mods, I don't see many CL-S' in the first place especially in that color. I currently have a silver 01 CL-s with comptech headers and their icebox intake, takes off damn quick, I can only imagine how yours takes off with your supercharger and your other mods. I have a couple questions though, if you dont mind, I see yours is an 03 and you have the newer style remote clicker, is that the one that came with it? mine is the older cheap looking one and I am looking to change it. Also did the comptech strut tower brace make any different compared with the stock one? and did you like those UR pulleys and was their any difference in performance? Looks GREAT! I have a 20036speed and am thinking of the supercharger. Do you have the high performance drive belt or the standard Comptech one. How much was the install? How are you dealing with the TQ Issue? Did you change the clutch? manitou AEMCAI& pullys,Comptech header, exhaust, sways, springs, ESM; Groung system, Hurricane chip
The CT exhaust is definitely louder then stock however don't think of it as one of those "fart cans" that make that loud buzzing sound while going down the street.
At startup the exhaust gives a little low rumble that lets everyone know whats up. While driving when you hit the gas it becomes noticeable and once you go wide open throttle it gives off a deep tone that in my opinion is just right. Its not super loud however its loud enough that you can hear and notice it.
While cruising with the RPM's under 2k the exhaust gives off a slight droning sound that I quickly got used to and if you control the throttle right you can eliminate it almost completely.
The headers by them self are actually working at full capacity. The addition of the exhausts only net like 2-3hp. However with the headers the exhausts get an even deeper growl. A good combo.
Great looking mods on your car... I have been considering the CT exhaust, but am wondering how much louder it is than stock. Can you give me your opinion on this? Also wondering if you noticed an improvement in your header performance with addition of this exhaust system.
One final thing... I notice that the pipe that connects across to the driver side muffler hangs down pretty low - is this lower than stock?
Like your car and color--just like mine except I have 6speed comptech following: anti sway bars, axilback exhaust, header, and lowering springs; AEM CAI, underpully system, and just added a G-Box (goes betwiin the AIT and the PCM) increased gas mileage, torque and hp overall well over 300hp. My rear trunk has the ACURA removed. Kept the symbol amd typeS. Car looks and runs great. If I punch hard in 1st and 2nd=lots of wheel spin and rubber burn. Soo I'm carefull. 0-60 around mid 5s. Don't you like that color?
