The Mountian Lion must have been very hungry to go after the dogs.. how nice the mule protected your friends as well.. must have been a real "wild kingdom" adventure!!! (I'm sure you remember those shows) :):)
Gives a new meaning also to gaurd dog.. ha!! and that the mule acted like it was nothing!! Maybe that is how we should be when we do something good for someone.. just go one as if it were a everyday thing.. needing no praise..
This is such amazing set of photos. It shows the love that has no boundries between the animals and the humans. This donkey loves it's pack so much and was able to protect the dogs and even your friends. Love is grand!

It would be so cool if you found a photo when they got married and found a shot with both hands together then crop out just their young hands.... and add it! wow!
