Your hair is growing quite nicely to have such a low maintenance routine. I noticed the same effects when I stopped messing with my hair and took a 2 year break. It grew the longest and fastest it ever has in all my 6 years of trying to care for it. =)

My texlaxed hair looks like this...and yes...I tried going bone straight 2 years ago which led me to texlaxed hair --- the middle of the road so to speak between texturized and bone straight.
