Yes, she got to go with mom that day and for the most part that was all that mattered. Her day went downhill as soon as we got to Dragonfly where she met up with her biological dad and mom. They were acting territorial of their home and Luci was guarding me. So Luci being the stranger ended up back in the truck. ;-(  Apparently some animals prefer their human family over their birth parents and litter mates.  Dogs really do live in the moment.
